This small collection consists of 11 drawings, work receipts, bills, specifications, printed material, and a some correspondence and legal papers related to the erection of The Buckingham Hotel.

Autograph letters, official and private documents, and accounts, which were previously mounted in eleven volumes. Most of these relate to Columbia University or people associated with the University.

Manuals (annual) containing historical sketch, constitution, list of members and officers, 1882-1937 (incomplete); meeting records including order of exercises, 1883-1926, and Centennial Meeting , 1829-1929, Nov. 30, 1929; scrapbook, 1829-1929, containing letters, programs, and clippings; minutes, including original transcript of minutes of the first meeting of Chi Alpha, Nov. 28, 1829, first book of minutes, 1829-1933, minutes, Nov. 27, 1829-Feb. 26, 1938 (21 v.) and Jan. 4, 1964-Dec. 16, 1967 (2 v.); Secretary's annual report, 1852-1938; Treasurer's annual report, 1858-1926; Topic Committee's annual report, 1897-1925; two committee reports, 1845, 1881; thirteen letters, 1838-1901; address, essays, and poems related to Presidents' inaugurals, 1867-1926, and other events, 1863-1938; obituaries of members, 1816-1937; and six memorial pamphlets.

Correspondence, mansucripts, transcripts, documents, photographs, and printed materials assembled by Vance for his dissertation, a biography of Myles Cooper (1737-1785), clergyman, Loyalist, and second president of King's College (now, Columbia University) from 1763 until 1775. There are transcripts of very many letters and manuscripts by and about Myles Cooper and King's College along with pertinent photographs and printed materials which Vance collected from American, English, and Scottish sources. There are also materials about Samuel Seabury (1729-1796) and Isaac Sears (1730-1786) whose biographical entries Vance wrote for the DICTIONARY OF AMERICAN BIOGRPAHY. Among the correspondents are Gertrude Atherton, Nicholas Murray Butler, Marcus Benjamin, Dixon Ryan Fox, and Dumas Malone.

Correspondence, manuscripts, notes, clippings, books, and a photograph of Ulmann. There are twenty books from his library, most of which are his copies of his own works. Among the correspondents are Donald Grant Mitchell, Margaret Mitchell, and Francis Hopkinson Smith.

A collection of 17 cataloged items collected by Seymour B. Durst as part of his Old York Library collection. In addition there is a quite extensive collection of newspapers.
