Most of the letters were written by Bayle to members of his family. Many of the letters are quite lengthy. Approximately 20 of these letters have been published by Professor John L. Gerig of Columbia University. In addition to the letters there is a list of Bayle's writings with the dates of early editions, and a list of manuscripts which were found after Bayle's death.

The manuscripts are chiefly memoirs which recount Petr Sushilńikov's experiences in the regiment. The collection consists of one long narrative account entitled "Astrakhanskie grenadery v boi︠u︡ i bytu, 1900-1920," ten brief sketches, and a list of regiment officers, doctors and other military functionaries at the time of the mobilization in 1914.

The papers consist of business records, manuscripts, documents, photographs, and maps. Most of the business records (financial records, lists of employees, incorporation of papers, etc.) concern the company, "Torgovyĭ Dom I.P. Kolokolńikova Nasledniki", in 1917-1919. The company was based in Ti︠u︡men ́and dealt in such commodities as flour, tea, and sugar. Also included are materials on the Teti︠u︡khi Mining Company (silver and lead mines), and on a project to build a network of grain elevators in Manchuria in the early 1920s. There are maps and statements concerning a dispute over land property borders in the Ti︠u︡men ́region in the late 19th century.

The collection consists of correspondence, manuscripts, notebooks, diagrams and tables, lists of addresses, and printed materials. Correspondence is mostly drafts of letters by Novak and letters to and from Mark Weinbaum. The bulk of the collection consists of manuscripts by Novak dealing with topics in engineering and physics. Novak criticizes Einstein's Theory of Relativity and Newton's laws of mechanics in his discussions. Notebooks include drafts of articles. Diagrams and tables mostly complement his manuscripts. Printed materials include copies of a pamphlet by Novak"Fizika 3-khmernogo prostranstva.".

The collection contains RNK correspondence, documents, photographs, subject files, organizational records and printed materials. There are letters from Boris Bakhmeteff, Pavel and Petr Dolgorukov, Zinaida Gippius, Aleksandr Kutepov, Dmitrii Merezhovskii, Bernard Pares, Ariadna Tyrkova-Williams, George Vernadsky, and Petr Vrangel. There is a short essay by Aleksandra Tolstaia about her father. The manuscripts relate to political, historical and sociological issues. Most of the subject files relate to emigre organizations other than the RNK, while those of the RNK are classified into files of financial records, bulletins, minutes and lists of names and addresses. Among the printed materials are brochures and pamphlets, clippings, newspapers, and books.

Russian Expeditionary Forces in France and Macedonia Records, 1914-1930

Orders, financial records, subject files, lists and service records of the Russian Expeditionary Forces. The collection pertains almost entirely to World War I, and there are limited materials on the Civil War in Russia and the emigration in Europe. The bulk of the collection consists of service records (posluzhnye spiski) and lists of soldiers from the 1st and 2nd Special Infantry (Osobye Pekhotnye) divisions. There are reports, plans, orders and financial records concerning these units in 1916-1919, chiefly in France. Files in the Civil War largely concern the northwestern front. Other files concern courts of honor (sud chesti) both in World War I and in the 1920s. Also in the collection is a book, IU. N. Danilov "Russkie Otriady na Frantsuzskom i Makedonskom Frontakh, 1916-18 g.".
