The collection consists of two sets of correspondence: letters from the writer Mikhail Osorgin to Sarach, and copies of letters written by Sarach to Nikolaĭ P. Vakar during the German occupation of Paris. Sarach remained in Paris during this period, and his letters to Vakar recount -- in a rather cryptic fashion -- the activities of "Poslednie Novosti" associates and such events as apartment searches and censorship. There is an explanatory letter by V.P. Velḿin on the letters by Sarach.

Correspondence, manuscripts, and newspaper clippings of Nikolaĭ P. Vakar. The correspondence includes numerous letters by Aleksandr Konovalov and Anatoliĭ Velʹmin and one letter by Grand Duke Dimitriĭ Pavlovich. Among manuscripts are a short autobiography by Vakar, and the originals and copies of his diary from 1938-1940. The diary concerns such topics as emigre politics in Paris in this period. There are numerous clippings of newspaper pieces by Vakar. In addition, there is a long obituary of Vakar by Paul Friedrich.

The Aleksandr Kazem-Bek Papers consist of correspondence, family and personal documents, writings, lectures, notes, manuscripts, photographs, printed materials, and research materials related to the life and professional and political activities of Aleksandr Kazem-Bek – Russian émigré social and political activist, founder and leader of the "Union of Young Russia" ("Mladorossy"), professor of Russian language and literature, and journalist. The collection contains significant documents of the "Mladorossy" movement.

The collection contains RNK correspondence, documents, photographs, subject files, organizational records and printed materials. There are letters from Boris Bakhmeteff, Pavel and Petr Dolgorukov, Zinaida Gippius, Aleksandr Kutepov, Dmitrii Merezhovskii, Bernard Pares, Ariadna Tyrkova-Williams, George Vernadsky, and Petr Vrangel. There is a short essay by Aleksandra Tolstaia about her father. The manuscripts relate to political, historical and sociological issues. Most of the subject files relate to emigre organizations other than the RNK, while those of the RNK are classified into files of financial records, bulletins, minutes and lists of names and addresses. Among the printed materials are brochures and pamphlets, clippings, newspapers, and books.
