Arthur B. Krim (1910–1994) was an entertainment lawyer and the former chairman of Orion Pictures and the United Artists Corporation. The correspondence, papers, photographs, and A/V content document the professional and personal life of Arthur Krim and his involvement with Columbia University and the Democratic National Committee, especially his relationship with President Lyndon B. Johnson and First Lady Claudia Alta "Lady Bird" Johnson.

Joffe's correspondence in Yiddish in English is both personal and professional, covering communication with institutions he was working at or hoping to work at. Joffe's manuscripts contain drafts for lectures and notes on university seminars and lectures he attended under Prof. Roman Jakobson and others. Joffe's newspaper clippings contain a selection of clippings relating to Prof. Peck, his undergraduate advisor, and miscellaneous clippings.

Henry R. Seager letters, 1928-1930

Correspondence files of Seager, containing incomming letters with outgoing carbon replies and occasional related memoranda for the period 1928-1930. There are letters from Columbia University colleagues, Columbia University administrative officials, from economics professors at other universities and from students requesting references for professional positions, and discussing plans, ideas, and revisions for their dissertations. Much of the correspondence concerns itself with labor relations and the American trade union movement, including a group of letters from Jacob B.S. Hardman of the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America, relating to a seminar that he gave at Columbia University.
