The Alice M. Ditson Fund was established at Columbia University in 1940 and is still active in its primary function of providing financial support to composers, performances, and recordings of contemporary American music. The fund also gives out the annual Ditson Conductor's Award, established in 1945, which honors conductors who have a distinguished record of championing American music. The collection includes files regarding the selection of this prize across several decades, as well as financial records, meeting minutes, applicant files, and subject files for the general Fund since its creation.

Information in press kits includes press releases, credit and cast lists, production information, cast biographies, plot summaries, position papers, photographs, both of the film and of behind-the-scenes, Cds, slides.

There are letters from fellow historians, such as John Franklin Jameson and Aleksandr Lappo-Danilevskiĭ; Kadet Party leaders, including Vladimir D. Nabokov and Nikolaĭ Astrov; and others such as Boris Bakhmeteff, Charles Crane, Vladimir Jabotinsky, Louis Marshall, Thomas Masaryk, and Nikolaĭ Roerich. A large correspondence series consists of letters and petitions sent to Miliukov during the Third State Duma (1907-12). Manuscripts include Mili︠u︡kov's memoirs, and his notebooks from the period of the Civil War. There is also a manuscript by Isaak Shkovskiĭ (pseudonym -- Dioneo) on Russian writers and journalists during World War I. Subject files deal with the State Duma, the Civil War, and the emigration.

Copies of parts of the Archives Municipales de Toulouse, Mss. H.H.1s and H.H.2, which include statutes of craft gilds dating from ca. 1270 A.D. to 1450 A.D. The codices are of the 14th century and contain the earliest known records of the gilds of Toulouse.

A collection of bibliographical ephemera, consisting of announcements, leaflets, invitations, etc., from bibliographical societies, bibliophilic clubs, typographical organizations, and rare-book libraries, from about 1960 through 2015 (with a few earlier materials).
