The collection primarily consists of negatives, transparencies, prints of architectural models arranged chronological by project number.

Jock Pottle is a photographer of architectural models, active during the 1980s through early 2000s. The collection documents his practice photographing architectural models for large and small firms, for American as well as international projects. The collection contains only photographic materials, including photographs, negatives, transparencies, slides, and born-digital image files. The arrangement of the collection follows Pottle's system of organization by is arranged by project number, or by client or project name. A partial file listing has been created, but the collection is underprocessed.

The drawings, mostly blueprints, documents Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, Pa.; Mountainside Hospital, Glen Ridge, N.J.; The Department of Commerce Building, Washington, D.C.; The New York Academy of Medicine, New York, N.Y.; Federal Reserve Bank of New York, New York, N.Y.; and University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Mich.

The collection consists of photographs for twenty buildings and models of five unrealized or partially realized project. Projects include markets, churches, factories, garages, a bus station, a bridge, a stadium, an airplane hangar, and an apartment building. The photographs are black and white and mounted to card stock. Each print includes a typed caption, which identifies and dates the project. The photographs are housed together in a clamshell box engraved with the title "La Arquitectura de Jose L. Depini." It is possible the photographs were use as a presentation album.

An unpublished manuscript by William S. Brown titled "SOM: The Formative Years." The manuscript, a 400-page typescript with holograph annotations throughout, was written between 1979-1983. The manuscript is incomplete, missing various pages sections.

Architectural drawings, correspondence, pamphlets, photographs, and newspaper and magazine clippings pertaining to projects completed by George de Ris and Lamb Studios. Correspondents include Lee Lawrie, Hartley Burr Alexander, B.G. Goodhue Associates, George de Ris, J.D. Denney, James A. Mitchell, Karl Lamb, and Marshall Muir. Drawings represent the following projects: Nebraska State Capitol, Lincoln, Nebraska; Christ Church, Grosse Pointe Farms, Mich.; St. Peter's Church, New York, N.Y.; West End Methodist Episcopal Church, Winston-Salem, N.C.; and other unspecified projects
